Trip to Media City UK, Salford

As part of my course at university I was offered the opportunity to go to Salford and Manchester to watch Countdown being filmed. It was really exciting to be in the studio audience and see how it works behind the scenes. It was also interesting to see professionals doing the roles I have learnt about and tried out in the studio at university. We had the rest of the day to explore Media City, it was exciting to see how much was going on, with all the different studios and BBC and ITV buildings.
