Camera Operator Work Experience

As part of my Professional and Academic Development module, I am required to do two weeks of work experience. I found the opportunity to work with a group of third years for their final project, producing a magazine show called 'Tea n Talk'. I was the main camera operator which was really exciting. The show was really interesting, aimed towards women and including a debate section and VTs about topics such as makeup and fashion. We had three sessions in the studio to practice before filming in our fourth week. It was a really good experience and allowed me to gain more skills in the TV studio and I now feel really comfortable working with the cameras.
