Learning how to use the radio studio

This was my first day using the professional radio studios at university! Part of my assignment is to create and present a 15-minute live radio show such as Capital or Radio 1. It was really fun learning how to use the equipment and the Myriad Playout software for programming and playing music. It is actually a lot more simple than I expected, which is a relief! After being taught how to use the studio we broke up into groups of two to have a go ourselves and practice playing music and setting levels. I am looking forward to getting more comfortable in the studio and getting even more practice.
