Practicing with my new DSLR!

I have wanted to get into photography for a few years now, since starting Media Studies at school. I was offered a module to study photography but I decided to go for radio and TV instead as they are what I am more passionate about but I still wanted to get involved in photography as a hobby. One of my friends I have met at university is an amazing photographer and this really inspired me to give it a go. My university gave all first years £150 to spend towards their studies so I decided to put this towards buying my first DSLR - a Nikon D3500! I went out to practice using it and getting used to taking photos around the canals in Birmingham and I loved it. You can go to the My Work page to see some of the photos I have taken!
