Music Industries Workshop

For my Professional and Academic Development module we were given some time off lectures to attend workshops in areas of the media that weren't being covered in our modules. For my first workshop I chose music industries because I love music and its definitely an area of the media I would like to know more about. The workshop was really fun and interesting, we mainly focused on press releases, how they are made and why they are important. We had a go at writing our own and got feedback from the lecturer. It was interesting to learn about the kind of persuasive language that is used and how it is actually a lot more difficult than it seems!
